Select MTVNewest Review: ... they like. They have a nice chat with the presenter, and then have their song played. - Classic! Sometimes you just have to laugh at the people that phone up, because they just seem really screamish and stupid. Also, the presenter has to ask questions so that they can win a prize, this is where you get all of the no hopers that scream their heads off. But, most of the time Richard Blackwood just slaps them back down again! Anyway, if you haven't seen this before, there is a list of vids down the side of the screen, then you phone up and request a song. Most of time, you could prob get on. But don't take my word for it. I first started watching this about a year ago when Donna was on it. I must admit, I think that she has been the best one on there. Badically, what the show is about is an MTV presenter answering phonecalls from callers requesting any song that they like. MTV Select has, in my view dropped considerably in recent months. Select is a music show where anyone in the UK or Ireland can phone in and request a music video that they would like to see. It is shown every weekday at 4pm until 6pm. It is also shown on Saturdays and Sundays for a longer time. When somebody calls in to request a video, and then ask for a autograph, I saw one instance where female presenter Kelly Brook actually refused! This is wrong and embarassing for the poor caller, they have been publicly humiliated on national television. I think that Kelly Brook and every other presenter should just remember that the callers phone costs are what ... Read the complete review

If you want to see your favourite music video on Television for free where do you go to look first? - Is there really anywhere? Well there's always The Box, then there's Kiss and Q, oh and MTV Select of course! But is it really free? At the moment on digital TV there is an ever increasing number of music channels that are allowing you, the viewing public, to choose what you want to watch. You'd really expect that to be a pleasure wouldn't you? However, it often isn't! It would be great if companies like Kiss and The Box would allow you to choose what you want to watch for free, but it just isn't possible. To get a ... Read the complete review

I have watched Mtv Select for a long time now! It's a great show with great people! I just love presenters:Ulrika,Kicki and Trey! I love the fact that people can call there; it's always nice to hear all kind of people from all over Europe calling there and talking with presenters. Mostly I like this show when some stars are presenting the show, like Agua has been presenting it many times. It has live guests and great prizes and this show has Mtv spirit it's made for young people by young people! And it shows. Chart is voted by young people they can email program or call to program. Chart has normally great new songs, but the problem is that they're always ... Read the complete review

Select MTV seems to be the show where young presenters start off and go on to be huge stars. It has happened with Donna Air and Richard Blackwood and will probably continue. The programme takes the layout of a presenter who is in the studio and takes calls from viewers. The viewers are able to request music videos that they want to see. There is a selection of about 50 videos for the viewers to choose. The show also has lots of competitions where viewers can phone in to win prizes. My main problem with this show is that lots of young kiddies ring in and request the same songs all the time. Each show you can guarantee that a selection of about 15 songs ...
