Disadvantages: Too short!, for women only!

Sex and the City follows the sex lives of a group of 4 girl friends living in New York. Columnist Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) draws on her own and her friends experiences to write her column.

Carrie herself comes accross as a fiesty and stong-willed woman, but she also has her vulnerabilities. She is unable to resist the attraction of her ex, 'Mr Big' despite the risk of being hurt again.

Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) is the man eater of the group, she chases men for sex but ends up the loser as she goes home alone.

Charlotte York (Kristen Davis) is the idealist of the group. She is looking for the 'perfect man,' the white wedding and the happy ever after.

Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) is sceptical about most relationships and writes them off quickly. She too, gives the impression of being a touch cookie, but really she wants to find love.

The show has gone from strength to strength and is still as funny and as entertaining as always. They get themselves into all sorts of situations such as adultery and using vibrators. By far the best part of the show is the relationships between the four women, ultimately they are looking for a partner who can be as good for them as each other. The girls have signed for another 2 years so we can be sure of seeing more of them in the future!
