Advantages: great acting, storylines and scenes.

Disadvantages: could put people off with certain scenes

shameless:
this tv program is set in chatsworth estate in manchester. its about a neighbourhood of misfits, druggies, drug dealers, alcoholics and gangsters etc. the show is mainly based on the gallagher family. its shows the crazy lives or each member and with the drunken, alcoholic father, frank gallagher at the head of the house there is always going to be mayhem in their daily lives. like the mother of the family 'monica' who is bisexual, and with her ex manly girlfriend 'norma' living literally on the front door step who hates frank, there is tensions and tantrums and she causes a giant rift between them. Also, with the maguires (local drug dealing, gangsta family) living right next door to the gallaghers theres going to be even more trouble.
i believe that this could be anyones cup of tea and even elderly people could watch and be entertained. the storylines are always gripping and always make me want to know what is going to happen next week, which for me is very hard.
even though this is a very gripping and entertaining program there is a lot of drug and sex scenes that could put a lot of people off but it is very good. each week is something completely new different from the week before but each week will always link up to each other. all of the characters are very good and the young character 'liam gallagher' has grown with the show, he was very young when he started on shameless and now he is a great actor in my opinion and after shameless he could be a very big star in britain.

Summary: very good for entertaining you but could embarrash you infront of your parents
