Shameless Review
Shameless is an on-going serious, now on its sixth series and showing no signs of drawing to a conclusion. This programme is often described as shocking, explicit, extremely humorous, heartbreaking and crazy. Shameless is most probably going to, and having to rely on sex, drugs and violence to keep the programme going. We all like to watch sex, drugs and violence in one film or programme due to the fact that it is unconsciously entertaining. I am someone who watches this programme a lot, well obviously I wanted to write a review on it right? I think this programme is entertaining, but if you want a proper storyline that grabs every single bit of your attention this is probably the worst; oops sorry I must make my self clear, it's probably failing so much, 'flog it' is taking in bigger profits than shameless.
The scenes that shameless are set in are so damn budget they buy there props from Netto's. I mean they have like 4 different scenes in a programme, your lucky if you get five and that would be Frank Gallagher, the dad, drunk out of his face in a museum. Obviously we like a change of scenery to keep us entertained but shameless is no way near achieving this. To be honest it is a very tacky and low budget film
This is a stereotype of the working class community in the extreme and is absolutely unrealistic and pathetic. I mean, people are getting sexually transmitted infections whilst becoming pregnant and committing benefit fraud all at the same time. In one particular programme, 5 people got into a hospital with butchers knives and guns without anyone hearing the shouting of abuse. I would say that this ongoing series is very entertaining but the storyline in my opinion is just too rich and fulfilled with too many things going on at once.
To be honest it is a very tacky and low budget film and I would avoid watching this for mental health reasons and wasting your time.
I will rate this film a jaw dropping, Lidl Food rating of 4/10.
Summary: I am a student. Give me an honest, blunt answer on what you think of my review. thanks. Advice :D
