Advantages: great comedy

Disadvantages: the more series the less funnier

I will start off my review , with a claim ' Paul Abbot Is Comedy Genius ' and that is no word of a lie . Abbot has created a comedy which gives an insight into working class life on a Manchester council estate - 'The Chatsworth Estate' . When I think of shameless , I instantly think of (arguably) the main character Frank Gallagher - a long , greasy haired benefit claimer . But oh boy is he one hell of a character . He is constantly under the influence talking through his philosophies in life . One of the most well known is 'Best of all we know how to PARTAYYY ' or 'SCATTAAA' . The reason many people find comedy like this funny is because a vast majority of the working class population can relate to scenarios like that . There tends to be something different happening every week usually involving drugs , sex , violence or alchohol . Every good working class setting has its local public house in this case its 'The Jockey' . If you are looking for a good insight into the mancunian sense of cheeky humor I would definitely reccomend Shameless .

It feels like a working-class pi**take to me rather than observed humour.
