Since Sean Bean first appeared on our TV screens as Sharpe in 1993 I have been a fan. To be honest I'm just a fan of Sean Bean, but that's another review ;) I was thrilled when I heard that Sean was making a new Sharpe, this time Sharpe's Peril. The main bulk of the Sharpe films were made and aired between 1993, and 1997, and then after a long gap the series was revived, in 2006 with an adventure set in India, Sharpe's Challenge. The latest offering, Sharpe's Peril, takes up the story at the end of Sharpe's Challenge.
