Advantages: nice to get away
Disadvantages: wish i was there
This has got to be one of the best TV shows that is on television at the moment. We all need a bit of cheering up in this dreary weather and this program will certainly do that.
It is on channel four saturday and sunday morning and is basically a programme in which young people are stranded on two dessert islands for 6 months trying to win a load of dosh. Each week a new member must choose between the islands and in the end the island with the most people left on is the winner.
You get to see lots of flesh on this programme men and women and the sun seems to be shining most of the time.
The whole programe is really interestingf and i have been watching it for the last few series now.
If you havent seen it make sure you get out there and watch it
Summary: a great tv show

- 26/02/07 I always hated this show as the people on the island are dull dull dull. What do I care about a group of people who have never actually done anything? Glad you like it though (I do not think I am the target audience). |

- 26/02/07 A bit more info on the show would be more helpful, I have never seen the show and your review does not convince me to watch it, if you edit a bit more info then I will pop back and re-rate and this should improve your ratings and get you earning more.

- 26/02/07 Its the best idea out of the bunch of "reality" programmes.
But they dont have a clue how to work it so it comes out awful.
Its like watching a more competitive version of Big Brother, yet cut so that you only get to see an hours episode a week. Of which you get a chunk used for the new persons decision on their new island, and any swaps. Totally missing most the reasons why people want to swap since the programme doesnt have enough time to go into it.
Theres the extra "hut cam diaries" which gives you an extra half hour or so.
Basically a nice concept, but lacking enough exposure , so not that many people will bother with it so preventing it ever being that big. Surprised it made it to 5 seasons i think it is.
If they ran big brother, and it was only shown for an hour and a half per week.
It would die, just like this programme does.
And yea, the age limit was something like 24 rofl.
Thats a bit ridiculous, and although its edited a lot to show off the girls ;) theres not enough time to even benefit the programme that much by drawing in the guys. |
