Advantages: Undeniably funny

Disadvantages: Some jokes are more suited to an older audience

The best family on TV. From beer-belching Homer and blue-haired housekeeper Marge, to their kids; the practical joker Bart, brainy and reliable Lisa and quiet little baby Maggie.

This show, set in the fictional town Springfield, is a barrel of laughs for all; though some jokes are more suited to an older audience, if only for the sake of understanding them. The yellow family has a clan of neighbours, friends and enemies to support the show, ranging from doughnut-fiend Chief Wiggum to their diddly neighbour Ned Flanders.

The residents of Springfield get themselves into all sorts of trouble and tribulations, including being named and shamed as the fattest town, the spooky goings on at Halloween and even Maggie becoming a trigger-happy tot.

This show is easy, shameless, entertainment at its best and is to be enjoyed by all. I'd recommend it to anyone with a sense of humour, as there's definitely more chance you'll enjoy it than that you won't.

Summary: The brilliant yellow family warming the hearts of audiences all over the world and making them laugh
