Advantages: really funny, wide range of characters, good show for everyone to watch

Disadvantages: way to many repeats on Channel 4

This Simpsons. Where do I start! This show has been around for as long as I can remember, i grew up with it, and still love it just as much as I did when I first saw it! It is suitable for both adults and kids which is a great thing in my opinion!
The simpsons is aboput an average family living in Springfield, USA. The great thing is, is that it also focuses on the many other characters too!
Here are some of the main characters:

Homer Simpson- The head of the Simpson household. He drinks a lot of Duff beer and doesn't like to work...although he DOES actually work, at the Nucleur Power Plant. He can normally be seen in Moe's Tavern (bar) with his friends drinking too much and acting stupid. But hey, that's why we all love him!

Marge Simpson- The wife of Homer. She has had many different jobs throughout the episodes but never seems to have a permenant one. She is known for her worrying and for sorting out Homer everytime he gets into a mess!

Bart Simpson- The rebellious one of the clan. Always getting into trouble and pulling pranks. Probably everyones favourite character.

Lisa Simpson- The highly intelligent one. She is only eight but is already cleverer than most of the people in her house. She has dreams of becoming a doctor or lawyer or something along those lines. Straight A student who can't do sport!

Maggie Simpson- The baby Simpson. Never talks in any episodes but somehow managed to shoot Montgomery Burns (Homer's boss).

Then here are some of the other characters. The Flanders Family live next door to the Simpsons. They are highly religous and Homer can't stand Ned (apart from in a few episodes). Selma and Patty (Marge's stwin sisters) make everyone shudder with their awful habits and chain smoking. Grandpa Simpson (Homer's dad) seems to repeat himself over and over with tales of the war. Milhouse (Bart's best friend) lives in Bart's shadow in the playground and everywhere else.

There are hundreds of different characters throughout the episodes and even some celebrity guests like U2 and Kelsey Grammer.
I personally love this show, it never fails to make me laugh!

Summary: Awesome show!
