The Simpsons is not only the greatest animated series ever, it is also possibly one of the greatest tv programmes ever.

I admit, the earlier episodes were not the best but Mr Groening has certainly made up for them. I look forward to every Simpsons, whether it be on Sky 1 or beeb 2, cos i know that it is guarranteed to be impeccable.

The Simpson family. Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie. My fave has to be Homer, but every character has their own catchphrase, their own personallity. I feel as if i know all the residents of Springfield, all their likes and dislikes, wat their called. If a programme can make you feel that it must be good.

The Simpsons is for all ages, whilst it will be mainly adults and teenagers who will get the most laughs out of it, younger children can enjoy it too. It is an all out family programme showing that a comedy doesnt have to contain sexual refrences or bad language to be funny, most comedies like hat rnt funny anyway.That is the magic of the Simpsons.

My fave like ive said, is Homer. The reason 4 this is simple. He is so stupid yet so funny, what every man wishes they could be. A loving father, well i say loving....

The Simpsons will be continued to be made, as long as the publics demand is still high for it. In that case i think The Simpsons will be around 4 a very long time yet, that for me is great.

So best programme of the 20th century? Certainly one of them, and definately one of the funniest.
Just one special mention to a character who doesnt get as much recognition as i think they should. Ned Flanders. This guy is funny, very funny. He is the butt of a lot of Homers jokes, without him The Simpsons wouldnt be half as funny.
