Advantages: Really funny characters, great plots, quality and quantity

Disadvantages: NOTHING!

One monday evening three years ago I was surfing through the channels when i stumbled upon a cartoon on BBC2! I watched it and it thought it was great. I soon settled it into a weekly basis and i never missed an episode.

The characters were so funny and in a weird way realistic. Every episode was based round four or five little things all crafted into one another. They ranged from Bart saving Krusty from jail to the whole family becoming proffessional tennis doubles players! the storylines get wackier and wackier. Although it become Monday and Friday that the Simpsons were on BBC2 it wasn't enough! So for one of the only reasons we got Sky.

We saw new episodes which amazed us some were so weird some so funny but ALL of them were great.

Homer is the dad of the family. He has his internationally famous catchphrase 'D'oh!'
Homer is my best character as he is so funny purely because he is so dumb and does the craziest things. I would say overall Homer has had the most stories based around what he does.

Marge is the mum, she is the nagging one (the typical mother figure!) that in some episodes tends to do funny crazy things aswell like having an affair with a french bowler and becoming involved in an high speed car chase.

Bart is the naughty 10 year old boy. In almost every episode his little story is about getting in trouble. But aswell as every other character has episodes where he changes like when bart mothers two little chicks but he did shoot their mum!

Lisa is the clever 'goody goody' who always gets A+ grades and she is always the victim of most of barts devious plots. but as i have said she has episodes when she becomes naughty, falls in love with a substitute teacher and many more.

Maggie is the little baby that just sucks her passifyier all the time and so far she's only had a couple of episodes based round her, one being her first word.

Some other charact
ers are Milhouse bart's best Friend, Nelson the School bully, Ralph Wiggum and Police cop father, The Flanders family the Simpsons neighbours, Moe the bartender, Barney.....well nobodys sure what barney does apart from get drunk! and many more.

It is defintely my favourite programme and I think all the stories are wicked and getting better. i give it a solid, amazing 11/10!
