Advantages: Can be fairly ammusing
Disadvantages: Its the same thing every week
Snog, Marry, Avoid is a BBC3 reality show, hosted by ex Atomic Kitten singer jenny Frost, which gives mainly ladies, but on some occasions men, a make under. What that means is they take some people with some really over the top make up, hair extensions and usually go out for an night time wearing just their underwear, and make them take all their make up off, take out their hair extensions and then give them a new look with less make up, natural hair and some clothes.
This show is one of these programmer where IM thinking to myself this is rubbish but its quite entertaining at the same time and if I start watching it, I will always finish watching it. Its funny to see these young girls dressed up looking hideous desperately trying to make them stand out to men looking well over the top thinking the men on the street would say they all want to snog them to then see the look on their faces when they get told for example 90% of the men say they want to avoid them.
After their make under 9 times out of 10 these girls look so much better the more natural way, but usually go back to their normal habits when they show them a couple of weeks later after the make under.
On some of the shows they have "Celebrities" such as Chantelle (the one from big brother who married Preston from the ordinary boys) Jodie Marsh, Michelle Heaton, all the big names, to have a make under and its quite interesting to see the state of their skin under their make up.
Jenny Frost also gives some tips on how to shave your legs, and what to do if your lipstick breaks etc. All such things which are useless to me but maybe some woman might find interesting.
I will only watch this programme if their is nothing else on and Im bored, I wouldn't go out of my way to watch it, but for abit of light entertainment its not to bad.
Summary: Not a bad programme
