So Graham NortonNewest Review: ... "Everybody Up!" He yells and then proceeds to allow people to sit for various silly reasons, until he narrows those left standing in the audience to a few. Then, someone will be totally embarrassed in front of the rest, but win a nice reward for so being. I love his phone calls. The best, I think, was the guy who had some kind of pornographic gay website and who Graham called at work. The guy could hear the audience laughing and kep saying "what's that?" I was laughing so hard. This is definitely an adult show and not for those easily offended, definitely not for children. The content is risqué to blatantly sexual. ... more |

So Graham Norton is just absolutely hilarious. Graham wears such outrageous clothes and has such unique expressions, and between camping it up and poking fun at himself, he carries this show through on a roller-coater of laughter. From the opening he'll have you in stitches. "Everybody Up!" WHAT IS IT ABOUT: Camp comedian Graham Norton presents a risque adult talk show. The show ran on Channel 4 between 1998 and 2002, and featured regular annecdote spots where the audience gave embarrassing personal stories, usually related to sex. WAS IT ANY GOOD: This was an excellent show for two reasons: 1) The audience involvement - Graham regularly got the public involved in the show, which led to an authenticity and oddity level that you just couldn't fake. Somehow, there's something funnier about hearing a red faced shy bloke telling an embarrassing story, than Norton from who you'd expect it. 2) Norton as chat show host - the ... When Graham Norton first hit our screens a few years ago I have to say I wasn't too sure about him. Heaven knows we have had enough camp comedians who promise to be funny but don't often deliver. Julian Clary seems to have lost his edge and Dale Winton never had any. The fact is to be merely camp is not in itself funny it's what you do with it. Norton's Friday evening show is perfectly scheduled. Late evening when you've had a drink and are ready for a belly laugh. A line of willing guests, often American, including recently Patrick Duffy and Richard Chamberlain, who can sit there while Norton rings up a chat line or similar. Norton clearly does not need much ... Read the complete review

I've been a Graham fan for a while now. However, when the programme first started, I saw it as 'mediocre'. Yeah, it was funny, had some alright guests and altogether very easy watching. But as this programme has progressed it has got better and better. Now, Graham Norton is on every weeknight at 10pm, meaning there is now never a night of bad television. Graham always amazes me by the quality of guests he manages to get on the show. There is almost always an A-list celebrity on the couch, being asked both serious and light hearted questions. Regular features such as 'betty', and the end of show play only add to the comedy value. However, new ... Read the complete review

Well when Graham Norton came to our screens for five nights a week, I was over the moon. He is the best comedian around nowadays, he is hilarious and always manages to make me laugh. It amases me how he can get so many people doing those rediculous things, The other week he had a fairly large lady jumping down the road on a space hopper, it was so funny as she was flashing her knickers to the whole of the nation. He also has a celebrity guest per show, they range from pop stars to sporting heros. One of my favorite shows was when he had David Coultard on, he was so rude to him and poor David didn't know what to do, he blushed bless ... Read the complete review
