Something for the Weekend is a Sunday ritual in our household now, we first discovered this show one Sunday morning when we were up early and looking for something to watch whilst having a breakfast and deciding what to do that day.

My partner and I love cooking and cookery shows but not anything too stuffy or formal, Something for the Weekend is perfect as it's so relaxed and informal, they create some wonderfully easy to make but delicious looking dishes each week that absolutely anyone could recreate in their own kitchen, which of course is the whole point.

The three presenters have a great sense of fun and often joke around with the productioni team in the background sometimes laughing along unseen which simply adds to the laidback nature of the show.

Each week the team make a 3 course lunch and serve it to their celebrity guests who also answer questions from viewers and talk about whatever it is they're up to at the time.

As well as food they also show clips from TV shows that have taken place over the past week and also reviews of ones to come over the coming week, one of their favourites is Hole in the Wall shown on Saturday nights which is absolutely hilarious.

The show starts at 10am and runs through until 11.30am so is a wonderful way to relax and enjoy a Sunday morning, I'll be gutted when the current series ends.
