Something for the Weekend

Newest Review: ... programme seems to have come on our screens and got staright back off again ???? Where has it gone ??? It was a bit tacky, but quite entertaining. The games that they got people involved in were a bit mean. Some of them were very embarassing too !!! Denise did seem quite appealing in most shows though, i think that might be a reason y quite a few people watched it ! I would like to see it return soon, as it is quite funny and yet another friday night programme to entertain us after our night out in the town. ... more

Premium Review Denise Does it Again! (158 words)

Well I think Denise Van Outen is good even if nobody else does (apart from all the males out there!!). Lets face it she says and does what most presenters would like to but just dare not. This show is a really good laugh for a Friday night and as it says 'something for the weekend'. Some of the poor unsuspecting people in the audience are really shocked but then Denise is shocking!!! This show is supposed to be based around the sex factor so if your offended then don't watch it. The best game I can remember watching was when a lady was a vibrator tester and she was blindfolded while her partner described them to her and she had to guess which one he was ...  Read the complete review

Perhaps weekend is really boring for lots of people, that's why this show is a neccessity to light up the dumb weekend life of most of the people. However I don't understand what makes the show interesting, exciting and attracting. Is it because I am too conservative? I don't think so. The show is just making fun of sex, including men's and women's sexual organisms, parents' or couple's sex life, some freak sex life and so on which sometimes really disgusting. I don't understand how can people deal with all the embarrassments caused. Is it because I am not open-minded? Well, everyone has his/her interest which might ...  Read the complete review

When this show was launched, it was supposed to be something a little bit different, it was supposed to be a bit controversial, but instead it turned out to be a joke. I watched the first episode, and it was certainly different, I actually found it quite good, but after watching the second episode, I wouldn't watch it again. It was exactly the same thing that was shown on the first episode. I then found Denise to be extremely irritating, with her so-called sexy actions throughout the whole show, it really got on my nerves. To me it looked like she was pulling strange faces, she didn't look one bit sexy, I'm not knocking her, but ...  Read the complete review

Something for the Weekend: Stop knocking it (94 words)

A lot of people have criticised the show for being sleazy, well isn't that the whole point of it? So Denise Van Outen does not posses supreme presenting talent but maybe the Essex airhead has found her calling here. The show is basically non-serious and after that anything can happen. Fun games are played and the usual twist of bringing out the parents at the worst possible time is always quite funny. Over thirties keep away, others watch for a good laugh and it just is Something for the Weekend. ...  Read the complete review
