Martin landau, a classic actor i dont think so, made his name in space 1999, the planet earth now has a colony called moonbase alpha which is where the programme is based from.
The crew of the moonbase set off on various missions of sorts in their space craft called eagles ( i used to have one when i was a kid, and would love to hear from anyone who still has one).
The eagle is kind of a pod on the end, and a metal frame with thrusters on the end.
Not really much to say about the show, emminently watchable in its time, but i cant face the repeats now. Special effects such as the crew throwing themselves around to simulate a crash abound.
Cult sci-fi yes but not my cup of tea.

Summary:
