Advantages: Great laugh

Disadvantages: Very dated

I love old Sci-fi series'. mainly becuase they are funny, I dont suppose they are suppose to be funny but they are now. I love to look at the special effects ( well not so special thats why they are funny).

The show is about a few people living on the moon at moon base Alpha and facing various enemy's of "great power". Starring Martin Landau in his quality white flared trousers, this show has really hit it off with me.

Some of the best points about this show are for starters the theme tune, great isnt it, thats not sarcastic it really is a great tune, I even had it as my start up music for windows at some point.

The real best bits were the perils they had to face and how the effects were made. In one episode they were chased by a load of bubble bath foaming through the base, I dont know how they ever escaped. Some of the deadly weapons they had to face as well were well deadly. For instance they were once faced with the horrow of a green light. Well they only just escaped that one after this light had drained all there energy.

Come on its a great laugh really well worth watching if you get the chance, just to see how they made sci-fiin the 70's
