Probably the best thing to have ever graced our screens.

Edgar Wright directs this brilliant classic british series, written by the two main stars, Simon Pegg and Jessica Hein (Originally Stevenson).

Plot outline: Tim and Daisy meet whilst both househunting- they find the perfect place, Tufnell Park, £100 a week (the only unbelievable thing about this show!). The only catch- they need to be a professional couple- so they pretend. With a host of amazing characters, such as Marsha, the alcoholic landlady, Brian the strange artist, Twist who's 'in fashion' (she works at the laundrette) and Mike, the 'Weapons Expert' (got thrown out of the TA for trying to invade Disneyland), this is one of the funniest and refreshing series about 20-somethings that has ever been created.

They face real problems, deal with real situations, but everything's done with the most amazing sense of humour and bows down to other inspiring movies- The Series Two episode in Ode to Human Traffic is probably my favourite.

And Tyres- the junked-up-funky-monkey-chomping-on-a-disco-biscuit -party-animal-delivery-boy, is a character of genius. You will never listen to the sound of the kettle or the ring of the phone in the same way again.

I cannot go on enough about this show- it was the first real thing I saw after years of watching the same american sitcoms over again. This is REAL humour. Watch it, and be converted.
