Spongebob Squarepants is the totaly annoying Nickelodian kids series. The show is an animation. Each show lasts around 30 minutes and is split into 2 episodes. The Characters Spongebob Squarepants is a sponge that works at the Krusty Krab burger bar serving krabby pattys, he loves his job and is a bit dense to say the least he lives in a pineapple. I first discovered Spongebob Squarepants when I went to the pictures on Valentines Day some years ago and watched the Movie. I well and truly enjoyed the movie and could not get enough of him! I found his programmes to be on Nickelodeon and started watching them. I then started buying his DVD's and other merchandise and have even been given a number of Spongebob Squarepants presents! Spongebob squarepants is an american animated cartoon for children but as an adult I find myself watching it along with the children. It is set under the sea in a place called Bikini Bottom. The two main characters are a yellow sponge whose name is also the title (Spongebob Squarepants) and his friend and partner in crime Patrick Star. Sponge bob square pants is such a loveable children's TV program but with a surprisingly large older fan bass also. The TV program came out when I was around 16 and, having younger siblings, the TV was regularly on CITV. Whenever it was on I would watch it and actually really enjoy it. The cartoon has very clever writers which know very well how to attract a very large audience. They have made sure it is easy to get involved with and relate to the characters.
