Advantages: Very good entertaining sci fi series.

Disadvantages: Can drag on and get boring sometimes.

On our t.v's star trek has probably dominated for quite a few years now and star trek the next Generation has probably help it remain so popular. When we think about the future this is how many of us would like to think of it. A space race flying around the stars helping less fortunate races and negotiating piece treaties with other powerful worlds. The special effects of star trek are also very good they make it all more believable. I hope that we will be seeing a lot more star trek in the future.
