I am a trekkie... I admit, but I would be hard pressed to decied which to watch if SG1 and Voyager were on at the same time!
I love Stargate, I saw the film and , although I thought that was great, the series is far better. Makes a change!
Bringing a female officer into the cast akes it more appealing across the board and Teal'c , the rogue Jafar, is a great character adding a bit of humour where otherwise there might have been very little.
Daniel Jackson is the bookworm trying to find his wife who has been taken by the Goa'uld and Jack O'Neil is the head of the team, SG1, which also consist of Sam Carter and Teal'c.
Their adventures throught the stargate take them to new worlds,with new civilisations and along the way making friends (and enemies) in their efforts to find a way to defeat the Goa'uld before they attack and destroy Earth.
You just gotta watch it!
I'm jsut eagerly awaiting the next series!
