Story Makers is a CBBC programme that encourages children to use their imagination and create a story each episode. It gives a little story of its own to heighten the suspense, as it describes the inhabitants of a children's library at night after everyone has gone home. The inhabitants are Jelly and Jackson, two puppets who hide during the day and will only reveal themselves once the library has shut and everyone has gone home for the day. Then they come out and call for the Story Maker (an adult) who comes in and helps them make a story. They spend all night making the story, and then hide away again before the library reopens the next day. Story ... Read the complete review

"Imagine, imagine, imagine a story!" My 20 month son repeats these words and copies the actions when they say this on the show. This is brilliant!. My son and I regulary watch it on cbeebies. The storymakers come out at midnight and work till the sunrises making stories in the library. Stories are made by entering props into a computer machine and they pop out a story. Jelly and Jackson are two of the puppetry characters along with a presenter. There tends to be 3 stories and one is normally about a blue cow and the crazy adventures that she has. There are play books showing real life situations, and many more. I think it's aims are to encourage children ... Read the complete review
