Advantages: The divine Claudia, campness

Disadvantages: Lack of serious manly investigative journalism

Even if I hated the camp-fest that is Strictly Come Dancing (and sadly, what I actually hate is when arrangements are made to go out just a little bit too early on a Saturday night for about 4 months of the year....), I would love It Takes Two for one simple reason - Claudia Winkleman! She's a genius host of what is a essentially a silly but hugely fun bit of entertainment fluff on every evening at 6.30.

The show catches up with the dancing couples who got knocked out/survived/just happens to be their turn, the judges, random celebrity fans (and I mean random - Henry Winkler anyone?) and features backstage gossip, a farcical dancing masterclass with head judge Len Goodman (surely Claudia, even if she genuinely has 2 left feet and is prancing around in 6 inch heels must be putting on such ineptitude), training footage and lots of fun bits and bobs.

My favourite is on the Friday show when an 'expert panel' (which might include a judge, costume designer and, er, Noddy Holder) reviews the dancers' music, outfits and training footage and everyone usually gags at that t**t Brendan Cole's terminally cheesetastic choice of song for the better-than-she-is-popular Lisa Snowdon.

I only get to see it a couple of times a week (damn that thing called work) but it's just the ticket for early evening telly - fun, camp, witty and no attention span required!

Summary: A teatime treat every evening - better than the main event!
