 Sunset Beach TV Programme

Sunset Beach

Newest Review: ... in the programme used to be having a massive argument in a bar, but none of the awful extras would take a blind bit of notice what was happening. Surely if you or I were in a bar and a heated argument was taking place, you would at least stop what you were doing and see what was going on? Not on Sunset Beach though! People used to be having discussions in their homes on this programme, and then the camera would most often than not show someone listening in outside. That happens to all of us everyday, I think not lol! Anyway, if this programme is ever shown again, only watch it for it's comedy value.... more

I used to sometimes watch Sunset Beach when it used to be broadcast on Channel 5. I never watched it for it's great stories and fantastic acting though. I watched it for it's hilariously awful acting, and really poor script. This programme was exactly how not to create a successful TV programme. I remember that some characters in the programme used to be having a massive argument in a bar, but none of the awful extras would take a blind bit of notice what was happening. Surely if you or I were in a bar and a heated argument was taking place, you would at least stop what you were doing and see what was going on? Not on Sunset Beach ...  Read the complete review

Sunset Beach was really crap. I hated it, the acting was dire, especially Olivia. Caitlin was also a crap actress and is extremely ugly. Why did they have to end every scene with cliff hanger, which actually became very palpable. I watched 2 episodes and can categorically say that that is the worst acting I have ever seen, shoddier than the acting in the Evil Dead. I wish Aaron Spelling would have forgot about that worthless piece of cak programme and spent more time on Melrose ...  Read the complete review

The best soap ever and it was cut!!!How irritating!! It was so cheesy, so unbelievable, but still so good!I think that it was the first and only soap, which dared to make fun of itself. The plot lines were so, so extravagant!!!!The acting from most actors awful!!But i couldn't miss it!!! The actors and actresses were gorgeous, the best i have seen in a soap. The life-guards so sexy..It would be better that it would be tranmitted late in the evening instead of early in the morning!!! Lesley-Ann Down, as Olivia, proved once more how bad an actress she is. And Aarron Spelling, after giving his daughter Tory, a starring part in Beverly Hills 90210, he gave ...  Read the complete review

I think sunset beach is rubbish and that it can be replaced the character are crapt i hate the script when sunset beach was cancelled channel 5 had to find a replacement for it early morning american soap. the result of this was to bring in days of our lives, most famous over here for joey tribbiani playing dr. drake ramorei as part of the storyline in friends. so now dool reaches our shores, but with us brits having missed out on years of what has been a long running soap stateside some storylines are still quite confusing. the wooden acting in it's forerunner sunset beach is still there (thank god!) and of course the cheesy long drawn out plotlines that ...  Read the complete review

Yes, I know that Sunset Beach has long gone - axed by the all-knowing, all-seeing execs at CNBC, but .... WHY? Being a veteran SB watcher (since day ... 2), I can relate to the feelings of abandonment widely reported by the viewers. I think that the thing that set Sunset Beach apart from it's fellow soap, was the fact that you got the feeling that they laughed themselves, whereas the others take themselves deadly seriously. This is a programme that has brought joy, laughter, and generally, entertainment to millions worlwide. Even those that deride soaps and all who watch them, could not escape the enthralling storylines. I can remember ...  Read the complete review
