Every since I was pregnant with my first child I have watched programmes about children's behaviour and discipline. Most of the programmes I gave up watching a long time ago, but Supernanny is one programme I watch consistently. It is on Channel 4, E4 and Discovery Home and Health. The programme involves "Supernanny" (Jo Frost) going into the homes of families who need help with their childrens' behaviour. For the first day she observes the family to see what the problems are. She then implements a routine and discipline and we watch the turnaround of the family. Some of the behaviour Jo Jo deals with is aggressive, rude, swearing, ... Read the complete review

Jo Frost is Supernanny, a very experienced Nanny who visits families who are having problems controlling their wayward, naughty children. It is shown on Channel 4 and E4 in the UK and I love it. It is filled with badly behaved children and usually clueless parents, who call in Jo to help them improve and hopefully stop their bad behaviour. The children are usually rude, disruptive, cheeky, violent and unruly, and it is often due to problems with the parents rather than with the children. The format of the show is very similar each week, there is a video with a family asking for help. Super-Jo then arrives, marching down the street in her business ... Read the complete review

Supernanny is a reality tv show with long time professional nanny Jo Frost who helps parents deal with misbehaving and out of control children. I dont have any children myself at the moment but would like to in the next few years. This show originated on Channel 4 and started in 2004. Jo devotes each episode of the show to one family to show ways to discipline their wayward children. She is excellent with children and i have never seen her get stressed out by any temper tantrums. She always remains really cool and calm throughout which i dont know how she can. She doesnt take any nonsense from the children and stays strong throughout the whole ... Read the complete review

Supernanny is a television programme which sees nanny of many years, Jo Frost, visit families in order to help them control their children and deal with their bad behaviour better in order to hopefully stop it continuing. It's not unusual for the children to be rude, unruly & boisterous and there are often underlying issues that Jo has to deal with in order to help one or both parents bring their children back in line in order to live a more harmonious family life. There have been several series of the show and each time the format has pretty much stayed the same. Jo will initially visit the family and observe them for a day or two. She then spends a ... Supernanny is a fascinating programme first broadcast on Channel 4 in the UK during 2004. It features professional nanny Jo Frost visiting the homes of families with problem children and sees her transforming their behaviour with her 'techniques'. Supernanny became so popular that US tv also snapped her up for a few series over there. When 'Jojo' first meets the families she looks immaculate. Posh 'power dressing' suit, hair tied back, glasses and you wonder by looking at her how she could possibly have good interaction with young children. How wrong can you be! When she first gets to work the persona is completely different. Casual, fun and totally ... Read the complete review
