Disadvantages: the speech is a little babyish

The teletubbies have been around since 1997 and has come back into the limelight recently with the toys coming back in the shops and being shown on the telly too.

My little boy loves the Teletubbies and we dont miss an episode.The teletubbies are shown on either bbc 2 weekday mornings at 6.30am or it is shown on the cbeebies channel at 3pm weekdays also.

The show is about 4 colourful characters living in their lovely little house surrounded bu green hills with flowers & bunnies.While you visit the teletubbies in this lovely place we see them learning and playing all of the time.Its always sunny in the teletubbies garden and there is a smily happy baby up in the sun !! The teletubbies are called Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa & Po....not forgettting the other lovable character Noo Noo, he is a friendly little hoover who lives with them too.

In each episode the teletubbies have a sequence where the teletubbies all run up a hill and lay down then their tummies light up in turn to see which tubbies tummy will play the a video.....the video is normally of children playing & learning different things and even though i think alot of children will enjoy this my little boy is not that keen.The video is also always played twice as the tubbies always shout out "again again".

Each teletubbie has an item that they play with or intergrate into an episode alot of talk has been about one of them in particular.....

Tinky Winky - has a purple handbag
Dipsy - a cow print top hat
Laa Laa - a big bouncy ball
Po- a scooter

Im sure you can guess which has been the talked about item....lol...these items are brought into the story alot and make for some very funny adventures.Also items arrive in the tubbies garden which also make for more fun adventures.

The teletubbies inside their house get up to lots of antics which make my little one really laugh, they make tubby toast,tubby custard,sleeping or chasing noo noo around the house !! All of these things are accompanied by some entertaining sounds which yet again make my little one really laugh out loud !!

The teletubbies speech is one thing that alot of people have complained about and to a certain extent alot of what they come out with isnt exactly perfect english but it keeps my little boy entertained and always wanting more.

This show is great its just long enough to keep my little one entertained and learning at the same time.
