Teletubbies
With three children under 5 I have seen many children's programs in my time and I am sure I have many more to endure.
I have to say teletubbies is not one of my favour programs to sit down and watch with my children. If I had to bit I would watch some thing like me too or some thing special. But saying teletubbies is a good program for my children to watch by them self's why I get some jobs done (bad parent )
Teltubies is aimed at pre-school children (my children personally only really like this from 18 to 36 months).
The show started in 1997 and is still shown today even they stopped producing it in 2001, meaning the shows shown today are repeats of the 365 episodes made between 1997 and 2001.
The basic idea of the program is that four every colour characters: tinky winky (purple) dispy (green), laa laa (yellow) and po (red) who live in a futuristic dome. Telebubbies is set in green landscape with lots of hills with rabbits hopping around.
The teletubbies are people dressed in the costumes they do not were clothes and all how a different shape aerial on there heads and a silver screen on there tummies. Each program the one teletubbie has their screen lit up to so a short film which normally is children doing an activity. This short film is played twice (I know this is good for children but drives me up the wall).
Teletubbies talk a sort of baby language and so not say there words properly Hello is eh-oh and the teletbubbies use the phrase big hug a lot.
Saying goodbye to the teletubbies seems to take for ever they all say bye-bye about 4 times each.
Overall as stated before this is a great program for 18 to 36 months for mums who want to have 15 minutes peace or to get a few jobs done
Summary: a inoccent childrens program good from time to time
