A must see for Sci FI fans (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles)

Advantages: Great story lines

Disadvantages: Its not as good as the original.....

When I first heard that this was going to be made I was highly sceptical...the films were in my humble opinion fantastic and a spin off would not do it justice, not least because there would be a host of new characters and storylines that may not meet my expectations.

I have been really surprised at just how good this series has been and the attention to detail is great.

Here are some reasons why I just love it!

1) We have got to see more terminators than ever before, different models with different skills

2) We get to learn more about Judgement Day and how the past is integral to it happening

3) We meet more surviviors, learn their stories and get to see the impact of Judgement Day on the Human race (there is one episode where survivors are all chained up with caged animals waiting to be terminated or experimented on...thrilling stuff)

4) We see more of the future than ever before, we see how humand band together to survive

5) We learn about John Connor's ...special friend

6) We see how the super computer chips were created

7)The cast do the original films justice and you quickly start to think about them as the characters we know so well

8) There is a good budget for special efects, spectacular crashes, fights and things blowing up

9) We see other people who have been critical to the future efforts for survival...and also for the building of the computer

10) We see John being a stroppy teenager, he just wants a girlfriend like everyone else!

As the seasons have progressed, so has the quality of the drama. The characters built around John are strong and resourceful, each has their own story which makes it an action packed hour of television.

Summary: Well worth a look, the story....continues!
