Advantages: something to watch for 12 weeks

Disadvantages: Some of the people seem very useless which is frustrating

The Apprentice is a TV series that is broadcasted on BBC one at 9 0 clock on Wednesday evenings. The programme starts out with 15 candidates who are put their paces each week by having to complete challenges. Over 12 weeks the candidates are whittled down to just one person who will wins a job with Sir Alan Sugar.

I am totally addicted to this programme and get so excited in the run up to the series.

I love the way that, as human beings we all make judgements of all of the 15 people that enter the house. I find myself looking at each one on the first episode and already making up my mind whether they are any good or not. I always turn out to be wrong and the one that I really don't think will win usually gets to the final.

There is always a few willful and 'gobby' people in show which you find that you just love to hate. They keep the show alive and you'll find that no matter how cringe worthy some of there actions and words are, you kind of want them to stay for the entertainment value which leads me on to my next point.

There is a lot of controversy in the media that says that Sir Alan keeps in the mouthy and annoying ones for the sake of entertainment. I am in two minds about that. Sometimes I think that is so true and then other times I think that although they are shouting there mouth off, they are actually good at what they do and can see why Alan keeps them on.

The challenges are such fun and I love watching what ideas the apprentices come up with. This series has been a lot of fun. Sir Alan has asked them to come up with an advert for a new cereal, choose and sell products on a shopping channel, choose and sell products at a baby show and much more.

Most of the Apprentice's make absolute idiots of themselves and really screw up a lot of the time which makes me wonder if I could do a better job. The mistakes that some of them make are so stupid and I find myself screaming at the TV but I know that it is edited so they can do what they want to make someone look a n absolute fool if they want.

Over all I love this programme but I do find it quite frustrating. Alan seems like a good guy and he's entertaining to watch but the candidates for the job really make the show. I'd recommend you give it a watch but leave it until the next series now because it's nearly over.
