Information --------------- The apprentice is possibly the hardest, toughest, most rigorous job interview that one can ever undertake. It consists of 16 applicants, who first have to go through a hard selection regime, who then complete a number of tasks in two teams in order to impress Sir Alan Sugar and convince him to hire them. Each week, one (or sometimes two) members of the losing team are fired, sent packing, and are never seen on television again. However, the one person who manages to see the program out to the end, receives a 6 figure salary, reported to be about 100k, in order to work for the legend. The US Apprentice is the original and only series worth watching. I won't bore the reader the details of how the show works since anyone reading this probably already knows. There's also a suprisingly popular UK version of the Apprentice with Alan Sugar. However, unlike depressing and boring Alan Sugar, Donald Trump comes across as a shrewd business man that knows how to inspire others. You see during a board room meeting Alan Sugar simply runs everyone down, on the other hand Donald Trump challenges people but also motivates and inspires other. To give an example, Donald Trump gives us his Donaldisms such as "success breeds success", ...  Read the complete review

Well we're right in the full swing of The Apprentice again, and boy is this season another typical expose on the supposed genius business-men and women of the country. Competing against each-other for the dream job of working for self made Millionaire Sir Alan Sugar, a group of the country's leading men and women of business are put to the test. Each week, groups are given a challenge, often requiring a simple business plan to succeed, and from the worst performing team comes one unlucky soul being evicted out of the competition. We're around one month into the show, which airs on Wednesday evenings on BBC1, and so far we've seen some ridiculous ...  Read the complete review

The Apprentice is the ultimate job trial. 16 contestants are competing against each other for the chance to work for Sir Alan Sugar, founder of Amstrad and earn themselves a £100,000 a year salary. The contestants are from various backgrounds and have each worked different jobs to one another and have various qualifications, thus prompting them to sometimes argue about who is the best qualified for a particular challenge or who has worked in the job role which has given them the most experience for the task ahead. The 16 apprentices are normally split in to two teams of 8 to begin with and as the numbers deplete throughout the series Sir Alan will ...  Read the complete review
