Advantages: Informative and funny!
Disadvantages: The idiot contestants!
The Apprentice is a fab show which I love to follow and is a great insight into the corporate world!
Set over 12 weeks The Apprentice (UK) is the ultimate job interview in which 15 contestants battle it out to become Sir Alan Sugar's next apprentice. Sir Alan Sugar is a well renowned business in both the UK and the world, making brands such as Amstrad household names Sir Alan Sugar started out in the back lanes of the East End of London without any help from anyone so knows what it takes to make it in business.
The contestants are split into two teams and are then put through a task each week which tests their skills as business men and women. The tasks vary from week to week and can include the likes of trying to sell tickets to a boat party to trying to make a much as they can washing cars! The team which makes the least profit in each task are then up for being fired. The team leader of the losing team is asked to pick team members of their team which they feel under performed. The team leader and the two are then all up for being fired. Sir Alan Sugar will then make the decision and hail "You're Fired". This continues until there are only two contestants left.
This is a great entertaining and informative show which is a must see for anyone involved in business. It can not only teach you about work life and how to work with others but is also a laugh watching the contestants sometimes make fools of themselves and get thing very wrong. Sir Alan has also been great over the past four series and I am sure he will be great in this new one! He really makes the contestants work for their job and it is easy to see why he has been so successful in business.
I love watching this and am so glad the new series has started!
Summary: Kate Walsh to win this year!!
