The US Apprentice is the original and only series worth watching. I won't bore the reader the details of how the show works since anyone reading this probably already knows.

There's also a suprisingly popular UK version of the Apprentice with Alan Sugar. However, unlike depressing and boring Alan Sugar, Donald Trump comes across as a shrewd business man that knows how to inspire others. You see during a board room meeting Alan Sugar simply runs everyone down, on the other hand Donald Trump challenges people but also motivates and inspires other.

To give an example, Donald Trump gives us his Donaldisms such as "success breeds success", "if you hang out with losers you become a loser".

Donald Trump knows how to reward others for their good work. Winning contestants are introduced to all sorts of high ranking people from celerities to politicans. The series presents more than just an opportunity to make money. On one occassion, Alan Sugar should take some winning contestants to visit the Queen for tea but this would never happen in a million years.

The first series is available on DVD in the US, however the second and following series are not available on DVD. I recommend starting with series 2.
