Advantages: no daft presenters

Disadvantages: it is no longer

sadly the chart show is no longer. i used to love the idea of having no egotistical presenters nausing up na otherwise good show like top of the pops, so the chart show was perfect, it also used to show you a preview of the videos it was going to show, enough time to get a tape ready if any of your favourites were on. the chart show was in it's pomp as i was about twelve years old and really getting into music. each week they'd profile a particular genre's chart as well as the pop chart, whenever it was the indie chart i'd be able to see all my favourites, the charlatans, roses, mondays, new order etc. i also loved the dance chart as it had real hip hop like eric b and rakim and gang starr. not that diluted r and b nonsense the likes of puff daddy pedal nowadays. the chart show you are sadly missed.
