A Must Watch for All Gadget Fans! (The Gadget Show)

Advantages: Great show with entertaining segments and products

Disadvantages: Jon seems slightly out of place as a presenter

The Gadgets show (as you can guess from the title) is a show on Five bringing the latest insight into all things tech!

The show airs weekly on monday evening meaning you can stay up to date with the technology industry and the latest gadgets to be released. Currently The Gadget Show has 4 main presenters (Jason Bradbury, Suzi Perry, Jon Bentley and Ortis Deley) and well as a special presenter for their online shows Dionne South. Each presenter adds their own individual perk to the show making it more diverse and attractive to a wider audience.

Each show consists of a few key elements all of which keep you entertained. There is a main challenge in each episode in which the presenters battle it out to see who (and who's gadgets) will come out on top. These usually consist of races, who has the most features, who's is easiest to use etc. These are usually quite funny with added bits of humour here and there to make it more interesting. It's also a great way to see the latest products in action.

There are also "The Gadget Show's Top 5" section where one presenter tries out an entire product range and then whittles the list down to the top 5, giving them a rating of 1 to 5 "G's". This is a great way get expert opinions on products, especially if you are looking to buy a product in the category soon.

And finally the last main segment of the show (which is a new addition this season) is the "Wall of Fame". This works by two presenters each choosing a product in the same broad category (i.e. MP3 player, Games Console etc.) and have to prove why their's should have a place on the Wall of Fame. One of the presenters usually chooses a classic novelty while the other chooses the modern alternative and they must win over Jon to earn that spot.

The only small thing that I dislike about the show isn't really to do with it's production but mainly one of it's presenters. I find that Jon Bentley isn't the best of presenters for the show anymore. He just seems out of place and sometimes his over-excitement and exaggerated just come across as fake. Sorry Jon!

Overall The Gadget Show is still a brilliant show and definitely worth watching every monday. Highly recommended for any and every Tech Fan!
