This is a brilliant British TV Comedy, currently in its 2nd series. It may also be noted that this show was actually nominate for a BAFTA.

I came across this one day as it used to be on after Skins and I saw the advert and decided it looked funny so id give it ago. Little did I know i'd soon be addicted. In fact, I actually went straight onto 4OD to watch the rest of the series in the same night!

The story is basically based around one geeky guy and his new aquired friends. The main character is called Will (played by Simon Bird), he basically is the geek, sent to the 6th form of Rudge Park school after his mother cannot afford to send hm back to private school. He typically stands out by wearing a blazer and by using a briefcase as opposed to a normal school rucksack. This is instantly noticed around the school and the jokes start. I have to admit, he definatly makes this show, if it wasn't for Will I dont think the show would be the same. He definatly comes out with some brilliant phrases and his general awkward appearance is what makes the show brilliant.

Okay so, as he's the new kid, he needs someone to basically show him around and this is where he starts to make friends, he is placed with Simon (played by Joe Thomas), but obviously Simon feels awkward having a geek with him and trys to avoid him. Nevertheless, Will is soon 'sort of' included in Simons group of friends (mainly because they all think that his mum is a milf) that consist of Simon himself, Jay (played by James Buckley), and Neil (Blake Harisson).

Throughout the 1st series, the show is based on them all trying to lose their virginitys and doing things that some of us will remember from our teens. These are things such as, bunking off school (and getting caught), expressing their love to girls who just aren't interested, trying to get served in pubs underaged and the list goes on.

Although it is really funny in parts, it can get a little bit tiresome when some jokes are repeated show after show, such as Neil dad (apparently) being gay and Wills mum being 'Fit'. They are funyn origional but it an ge repetitive, especially now its the second series.

Now let me go into each charactor in a little more detail:

Will:
Previously privatly educated in a decent school and the geek of the group. Seems to have a lot of confidence at times and shows intelligence. His mates take the mick out of him a lot about being a virgin but actualyl get mores attention than them in the show. He is definatly the funnyist, ue to the way he explains things.

Neil:
Neil is the clever one of the group, seems to pull a lot when hes away but not in school. His dad is also rumoured to be gay, which means he gets teased about that all the time too. Works in Thorpe Park (There is an episode on this).

Simon:
He is the loved up one, a lot of what he thinks and says is about his female obbsession called Carly who he has known for years but hasnt got very far with. There is a brilliant episode with him in at Carlys house, this is a must watch!!

Jay:
The self acclaimed 'ladies man', also a compulsive lier. Hes definalty the most outspoken of the group and I swear he only thinks about women 24/7 and nothing else. He tells everyone hes been with loads of girls nd it is apparent he lies about this in a couple of episodes. He is definatly one of the funnyist.

This programme is a must watch if you like teen things, though id say the majority of adults would enjoy it. Its rated at an 18 so is clearly aimed for adults, though Im sure younger people watch it too. It is aired on E4 at 10pm on Thursdays currently, tough this will change once the series ends.

Series one is now available to buy in most HMV's and online stores. It is only 6 episodes hower which is a bit of a let down as id of liked the series to have been longer.

Series two is currently airing its 3rd episode tonight and will be available to buy after the 6th episode has been shown, from the same places.

I should also mention that this show has great music featured with the likes of arctic monkeys, kate nash and the wombats all having songs played. Though they do seem to love the latter two a lot in the first series as it was played all the time and got a bit annoying!

Anyways, Give it a go, and tell me what you think. After all its not very often a british comedy is actualyl that funny!
I hope this has been helpful.

Summary: for those who wat a giggle.
