Advantages: Hilarious, Sense Of Reality, You Can Relate To Plots, Great Characters, Good Acting

Disadvantages: Swearing/Rude .. ?

The Inbetweeners is a comedy hosted on E4 and there have already been two series of it. It revolves around 4 main characters, who are students at a public school in the 6th form. They are all losers in their own ways but it's hilarious to see the reality of the show and how they all interact with eachother and other people.

The main character, Will is played by Simon Bird who is a well-known actor, writer and stand up comedian. His character is similar to that of a geek's. He wears glasses, speaks and acts like someone posh and has a very sarcastic way of getting back at insults. It's really funny the way he replies to such witty insults received by his friends or others.

There is also Simon played by Joe Thomas. He's slightly more sensible but still quite daring and he has strong feelings for a girl at the school who has a boyfriend already and he thinks she likes him too. There is Jay played by James Buckley, who is always after girls and claims to have a good sex life. He always argues with Will, which can be quite funny. Lastly, there is Neil, played by Blake Harrison. He's quite a nice sort of guy - quite sensible but similar to Simon.

The four of them act together very well and there are loads of funny things which happen in each episode that makes it so worth watching. In an early episode in series 1, the 4 of them get drunk and Will insults Neil's Dad saying he touched them whilst simultaneously pointing 'where' on a doll. Other funny things go on such as the boys trying to buy alcohol whilst being underage and a whole host of other events to do with drinking and girls. It's really quite entertaining to watch and much better than Skins for example as it has a much better and more obvious sense of humour to it as a comedy show rather than some soap. It's hilarious to watch and I'd highly recommend it! Hopefully a series 3 is on the way soon.

Thanks for reading,

Summary: A really hilarious comedy programme following the lives of 4 teenagers
