Advantages: Memorable lines and catchphrases, funny characters

Disadvantages: Not enough episodes!

~Plot~
Will is a geek who carries a briefcase. We find out in the first programme that his parents divorce has meant that he and his mother have moved to a different area and he has had to leave private school to enrol at the local comp sixth form. Upon starting at his new school he befriends three other 'misfits' and together the foursome get into all kinds of hilarious, inappropriate situations. They really are a hopeless bunch and together are comedy gold.

~Cast~
The Inbetweeners has propelled them all to fame. The four main characters are Simon Bird (Will), Joe Thomas (Simon), James Buckley (Jay) and Blake Harrison (Neil). Other regulars include comedian Greg Davies as the head teacher who despises Will, and Emily Head as Carly, the girl Simon is hopelessly in love with.

~My Thoughts~
I've never seen a British comedy like this before. The Inbetweeners has gone where other comedies were afraid and is so disgusting at times that it's actually funny. It's watched by a wide audience, I in my twenties watch it, as does my dad in his 40s. The characters churn out memorable catchphrases and one liners and are laugh out loud funny which is why it's such a success. My only annoyance is that there were so few episodes as I could have gone on watching it for much longer!

The Inbetweeners also has a great soundtrack including Kate Nash, The Wombats and Hot Chip. It's very catchy and fits perfectly.

If you haven't seen it, then do!

Summary: The best British comedy for years
