Advantages: Thank god I'm not one of them

Disadvantages: The fact that there are people who need to appear on the show

I wont be saying much more than has already been said about the program and the personality...

Featuring on ITV1 and in the afternoon a repeat on ITV2, the show's ethos (if you can call it that) is to solve family crisis, reunite lost loved ones, solve relationship issues and what talk show would be complete without lie detector results and DNA testing.

The audience in recent years have had less and less participation as when the show first started out and few comments are taken from them, unless they are a friend/family member attached to one of the "guests".

Every "round" (lets face it, it is a battle for these people) a caption appears at the bottom of your screen letting you know whats the issue. Such as "I slept with 45 men, but you're my baby's father" and "Abandoned by my alcoholic mother at 12", and the such like.

Jeremy Kyle is the "Agony Uncle" who serves as your host, throwing in his nuggets of wisdom, which are frequently "Do you know who the Dad is?" and "Put something on the end of it" and my personal favorite "Well if you got off your arse and got a job you wouldnt have time to be fathering 26 different children with 26 different women".....

Each guest then basically gives their version of the situation, periodically one or two family members/friends join them on stage with their tuppence worth.
Eventually Ol Jezza gives their results, or tells them what to do and promises them the help of his "After Care Team" t do with their issues.
Now if you're optimistic in nature, you think, oh thats nice, how helpful, but I dont know if these people do receive this help from the now secondary host, Graham, the shows pyscho-handyman.

Now what do I love about the show, well I love the fact that some people do get answers to questions, so they can move on in life.... Ah who am I kidding? I like it when he shouts at them about him paying taxes and them sitting on their backsides claiming benefits, and I really love knowing that no matter how bad my life seems some days, I've just hit such a rock bottom that I need to appear on this show...

What do I dislike about it? In general I dislike that this is actually people's lives, and some of the situations that come up are just sad, or really pathetic, especially when people appear twice! I cant imagine my life hitting the point where appearing on this show is the highlight of my life.....

Its car crash t.v and if nothing else will make you feel better about your own life....

Summary: See where your tax £'s get spent

Kyle has no right to shout and berate these "dole scroungers" as he'd be one himself if it wasn't for them being stupid enough to appear on his awful TV show.
