Advantages: Some great stories, shocking and heartwarming

Disadvantages: Sometimes a bit loud when nursing a hangover

~What it's about~


The Jeremy Kyle Show is a chat show on every morning on ITV1 at 9.30 until 10.30. The show is jam packed with guests discussing lots of different problems that they are experiencing in their lives from alcholism to unfaithful partners, the lists goes on... DNA tests and lie dectector tests are very common too.

I first started watching this show whilst I was pregnant, it was a very loud start to the morning as I would say the large majority of guests have a tendancy to scream almost every word however, I got addicted.
I have been a fan ever since I am up alot earlier now with my little boy but it is always on in the backround while I get on with cleaning and washing etc and when I hear and intresting topic I will have a break and watch the antics unfold.




~The Guests~

The guests can be so ridiculously unbelievable but sometimes there are very heartwarming stories of people who may have survived certain ordeals or maybe are suffering some sort of illness and want to create awarness.
Some people ask me why I watch such rubbish but I find it so intresting how people can lie about such serious things, how families can stab eachother in the back so badly and go on 'national television' and broadcast it to the whole nation, truely fasinating in my opinion!



~Jeremy himself~

I am a little sad I know but another reason to watch if that is not enough is Jeremy Kyle himself, he is hillarious he shouts just as loud as any guest and most of them seem to listen to him as if he is some kind of god. He is also very good at getting his mostly wise opinion across. Jeremy once had a bad gambling problem which was made quiet public, he never tries to hide this and never claims to be perfect but ofter offers his true advice.


~The after care team~

It seem that there is a very strong after care team behind the Jeremy Kyle including the magnificent Grahaem, who counsels guests after the show and helps families and couples sort through differences. They also give help to people maybe suffering from addiction,depression or in abusive realationships etc. I have watched shows were they Jeremy and Grahaem then go back and visit previous guest who they have gave help to, to find how well they are doing and how they have turned their lives around. I am sure not help is sucessful but I think it is great that we have a show like this that actaully offers help to people who contact the show as a last resort.

Summary: A really good chat show with some of britains craziest people on it, hillarious!
