Advantages: Background noise, entertaining show

Disadvantages: The shouty yes or no!

For the first time since I was in university I am in the house in the morning to delight in some daytime television (like when did This Morning leave Liverpool???) This show is just great for it's comedy value: the guests, the host, the stupid sponsored bingo song before the ads.

Jeremy Kyle has definitely found his 'winning' format. A little intro on the problem, get the first guest in, sympathise with them, get the second guest on, sympathise with them. Then he'll decide who he believes and keep asking questions to the other person with a shouty 'yes or no' or maybe 'true of false' to break the monotony. I have no idea who he is or was in a past life but he makes me chuckle.

The people on here have actually paid for the privilege of appearing by texting or phoning in before hand for a lie detector or DNA test. They will all make friends after in a 'controlled environment' hopefully without the shouty 'yes or no' from the studio. It is repetitive. There are a lot of people with cheating other halves and doubtful paternity or family feuds so it's longevity is assured.

If you have an hour to waste with a cuppa and biscuit then it's worth a look. It brings nothing new to the morning chat show arena bar Graham the genius with his psychological counselling help. How much work behind the scenes they actually do I don't know but there is an added feature now where they show you what happened afterwards.

So it's on ITV1 9.30 in the morning or you can catch it on ITV2 at lunchtime as well (about 1ish).

I try and miss the beginning tho' I can't stop cringing at the handshaking and greeting of the audience....
