The Lick is in my opinion the best show on the planet for all your urban music needs! The Lick is shown on a Sunday evening at 7.30pm on MTV Base and is presented by the world famous DJ Trevor Nelson.

The Lick has been on for over 10 years and is still going strong. It was the first show which soley revolves around urban music and for that reason will always be much loved. It has long become a must watch for all Hip Hop and RnB fans!

The show is really informative and always has the latest tunes, news and gossip surrounding all our fav artisits, and Trevor Nelson is fantastic at keeping the show informative yet funny. The show also has many interviews with celebrity guests, which over the years have included 50 Cent, Jay Z, The Game and many more. The interviews are mostly done by Trevor himself and I think he is one of the best interviewers around and not only in the urban music field! Trevor just seems to know what questions need to be asked but he is so friendly and polite all the celebs really respond to him. He has also been in the game for so long many of the artists repect him a great deal.

The show has also hosted many Lick Parties around the UK which always sell out immediately! The shows have featured many live guest apperances and of course the infamous Trevor Nelson gets up and does what he does best, DJ!

Some of the best bits over the past 10 years have to be Trevor's great interview with The Game, a hilarious interview which still has me in histerics thinking about it today. Trevor has also managed to get many exclusive first watch music vidoes to be aired on The Lick which is always a fantastic addition to the show. Trevor is also great at showcasing UK urban talent with his live lounge and alowing artists like Tinchy Stryder co host!

The Lick is a must see if you love Hip Hop and RnB!
