Advantages: None
Disadvantages: Gambling and rubbish TV
This is one of those awful shows that prays on peoples basic greed and ignorance to generate income for the TV companies.
The show goes out after the pubs have stopped serving and is aired on ITV from about midnight, it is basically a phone in programe whgere viewers phone in to answer questions to win cash prizes however every call is at a premium rate and shows like this have made the news recently as naive people run up large debts by repeatedly phoning in.
The show makes it money by the fact that the majority of people fail to even get through and get a message telling them to try again, those that do are left on hold and the number of callers put through is spaced out in order to reduce the amount of winning callers.
Some of the games need people to find one of a number of winning words, they will have the clue of Ball and thne have to add a word to it to make another word or such as bearing to make ball bearing. Some of the answers are obvious so there is no real intellect required to play.
The presenters are the usual bunch of QVC style presenters who chatter on trying to get people to phone, they even have the gay bloke who won Big Brother a few years ago whose name escapes me.
This is an awful show that prays on those who like to gamble or are just drunk and is not something I would recommend watching.
Summary: Awful show.
