Advantages: A variety of guest with few topics of evryday discussion

Disadvantages: Some self opinionated egos

The One Show, co-hosted by Adrian Chiles and Christine Blakely, is quite a refreshing one stop from the news to the drab Soap hours.
The news is normally wrapped up with the depressing topics of how badly this Government is running our economy, Afghanistan war, naming just a few; and the rest of what bad news that is happening to this once Great Britain.
This programme, like a magazine supplies a few good topics like their nature watch always worth waiting for.
The only annoying part is the constant attention to the hosts rather than the guest and on a couple of occasions their own opinions have been a bit detrimental to a couple of sensitive issues, which would have offended me had I been involved.
More of the plus side reminds me of the talk shows of the 1960's and 1970's with Simon Dee, Bernard Braden, Nationwide and Wogan; these had some good topics and guests also.
The time of the programme is right 6.45pm for 45 minutes but could do with a bit more variation.

Summary: Bit of variety and interesting topics
