The football Factories was a book and subsequently film based on the football hooligan experiences of the author John King, the film starred London actor Danny Dyer in the main role. The real Football Factories is a television programme presented by Mr Dyer where he travels round the world meeting football hooligan 'firms' and listening to their stories, telling the audience how hard or scary they are and then leaving. I'm a big Sheffield United supporter and like watching most football-related programmes. The Real Football Factories is a series of documentaries about football hooliganism in Britain. The episodes are an hour long and were shown on Bravo on Sky. Repeats can usually be seen on Friday/Saturday nights. The programme is presented by Danny Dyer who starred in the film The Football Factory (also about football hooliganism). I quite like Dyer in the films I've seen him in, but he does come across as a bit of a plonker in this - seemingly acting-up to the camera and trying to come across as a "hard man" in front of the hooligans.
