Advantages: Hilarious, entertaining, great watch
Disadvantages: None
This has got to be one the most hilarious shows ever produced on TV. The Simpson family have long been a part of all our lives as their show has been running since the nineties and is a great watch for all the family. A fabulous show which will have you in stitches from start to finish.
The Simpson family are meant to be a satirical copy of the average suburban American family, and by god do they emulate what is wrong with not only America's society but also our own. However as it is done in such a clever way the show is suitable for both children and adults. The jokes are fantastic as they are deep and humorous on many levels.
The show is centred around Homer, the simple father, Marge, the overzealous mother, Bart, the problem oldest child, Lisa, the clever forgotten about middle child and the baby Maggie. Throughout the many series the show follows the lives of the Simpson family and their interactions with other people in Springfield. The show also has other popular members in the cast, which include the old rich mad man Mr Burns, Barney Gumble Homers alcoholic friend and the crooked Lawyer Lionel Hutz. Over the years we have seen the family go through loads of different escapades from Homer committing bigotry to Apu leaving the Kwick E Mart!
I have seen almost all of the Simpson shows and I never tire of them and can even watch the repeats over and over again. The writers have managed to keep us entertained for years, here's hoping for many more to come.
Summary: Still as good as ever
