 ... Slammer does benefit from a similarly wacky theme tune, however. Overall it is a reasonably funny kid's show and I would recommend it to 7-12 year olds....more

The Slammer is a CBBC children's comedy TV programme, its current (second) series being aired on weekday mornings at 10.30am on BBC 2. *Format* The show is based in a mock prison in which inmates are chosen to perform in a talent contest called The Freedom Show and a live studio audience of children vote to release their favourite contestant.
