Advantages: Brilliant children's programme (also a fun watch for adults!), great cast and acting, funny

Disadvantages: Only on Disney Channel

On a trip to Disneyland Paris last year, in our hotel we obviously had unlimited viewing of the Disney Channel. One of the main TV programmes that was shown was The Suite Life of Zack & Cody.

Thinking it was going to be yet another silly kids' show, I flopped down on my bed and thought I might as well watch it with my younger sister, as I was knackered from the long day and had to wait for my mum to get ready for the evening out.

The comedy show revolves around the lives of identical twins, Zack and Cody Martin. Their mum, Carey, is a singer in the Tipton Hotel in Boston, which is the reason that the family end up permanently living in an upper suite in the hotel. Each episode is focused on the trouble-making that the twins get up to in and around the hotel, always encouraged by the more mischievous of the twins, Zack, and always remedied by the more sensible of the two, Cody. Other main characters include London Tipton, the hotel owner's daughter, who loves buying expensive clothes and accessories with her daddy's money and acting like the Queen of the Castle, and sensible Maddie who works in the hotel's snack shop and is part time babysitter to the twins. She also often tries to fix all the catastrophes that go on in the hotel. Mr Moseby, the strict manager of the Tipton Hotel, is often trying to keep things under control and to prevent the twins from turning the hotel into their own personal giant playground.

~ Cast ~
Zack - Dylan Sprouse
Cody - Cole Sprouse (Ben Geller from Friends)
London - Brenda Song
Maddie - Ashley Tisdale (Sharpay from High School Musical)
Mr Moseby - Phill Lewis
Carey - Kim Rhodes

I was surprisingly satisfied with the programme to be honest. It isn't a really and silly goofy programme like a lot of others of this sort - OK it is a little silly but still watchable and fun to see. The cast are great and the acting is very good too with some actors who have had big parts in other programmes. It made a change and was nice to see Ashley Tisdale take on a role other than her part in High School Musical as the blonde bimbo.

Although there are some silly moments, they way it is done gives the show a comical spin and I found it highly enjoyable to watch and would recommend it as a brilliant children's programme.

Summary: One of the better Disney shows

Awful show! Only the ditsy heiress London saves it from being a total eyesore.
