Well if you have read a lot of my reviews you will know I love the kids programmes especially those on the Disney Channel :-D

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody is one of the programmes on the Disney Channel which has been running since 2005. The show features twins Zack and Cody Martin (played by Dylan and Cole Sprouse, Big Daddy), they live with their mum Carey in a hotel called the Tipton, owned by the Tipton family, the daughter and heiress of whom is London Tipton (played by Brenda Song), dipsy spoiled rich kid who gets everything she wants and has some very weird little ideas in her head. Carey is the entertainer in the Hotels lounge, and a single mum bringing up Zack and Cody teenage twins.

The twins are completely different in the way they act, Zack is the bad twin, he doesn't suceed in school and he is always getting into trouble, while Cody excels in school and tries not to get into too much trouble!

There are other regulars in The Suite Life, including Maddie (Ashley Tisdale, High School Musical) the sweet shop girl who Zack has a huge crush on, Mr Moseby (Phill Lewis) the hotel manager who hates the twins as they're always causing trouble in the hotel, Arwin (Brian Stepanek) the hotels handyman, who isn't so handy, he is the boys friend and helps them get into even more trouble unwittingly, and is madly in love with their mother, and Esteban (Adrian R'Mante) who is the BellBoy in the hotel!

Although not my favourite Disney Show, coming up behind Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana (yes I'm a saddo!), it is quite good, and is funny. The things the boys get up to though not believable and just been completely crazy, are funny, and they do make me laugh. There are sometimes underlying "morals" to the stories which are shown in the programme like when London is refusing to speak to her "new Mommy"- her fathers new wife, as she isn't much older than herself, but after much deliberation and arguing, she realises that she is only trying to be nice and she is just trying to be close to London not muscle in on her life, but get along with her unlike her other "mommies" have done- I think this was a good storyline as it is something which alot of kids go through in these times with parents getting divorces and "new parents" been introduced, there must be alot of kids who push these new additions to the family out, and I think this episode maybe made it a little easier for these people to be accepted into the family by the kids.

The show is for kids and so the storylines aren't wonderful, they're simple to understand and they do tend to be quite funny, whereas people see that Hannah Montana doesn't give kids the right impression (I have heard it said that it makes young girls think they're not good enough, Miley has to pop a wig on and dress up in fancy clothes to be liked, while she is a bit geeky in school and not liked by many people) whereas this show is pretty funny and doesn't really give off those "bad" vibes.

It's a show which I definitely wouldn't mind my kids watching and one which I will sit and watch when theres nothing else on!!!

Summary: A good kids show on the DisneyChannel!
