Tom Green is the Canadian comedian on MTV, his show is fantastic because he is extremely funny and daring. It is extremely difficult to explain if you haven't watched it. He is certainly my favourite comedian. He does numerous styles of sketches. A lot of the time it involves him going around streets heckling the public. Or we will see some of his numerous characters, such as his superhero "burning shoes man" in which he would set his feet on fire and run about the street to aid the public. About a year ago my co-worker at the time introduced me to The Tom Green Show on MTV. For those who haven't seen it then be prepared some insane antics that will either offend of have you in tears of laughter. Tom presents the show with his friend Glenn Humplik on a set that resembles a chat show with desk and chairs. Behind a mock window sits Tom's other friend Phil Giroux who just sits there laughs and drinks coffee. The show started out on public access tv in Canada before finally ending up on MTV. The Tom Green Show - One of the biggest comedy sensations of recent years in the USA. The show first started off as a small time cable program in Canada - Tom Green is from Canada - and has rapidly taken off to be one of the highest rating shows on MTV in the US. So Why is it funny? Well, some people may just argue that he has a few screws loose, whilst others would greatly admire his comical tomfoolery. I personally feel that he is a genius!
