I love this show, its totally addictive!!!! Great Saturday evening family entertainment..

The XFactor is a reality Television Show in the search for Britains next Popstar/Group.

The series is around 4/5 months long, it starts with auditions all over the UK and thousands of people enter the competition. They have to sing live in front of 3/4 judges a song of there choice and they are told on the spot if they have made it through to bootcamp.

The Judges on this series are Simon Cowell (the Owner of his own music company), Louis Walsh (Manager of various singers/groups including westlife, boyzone etc), Danni Minogue (popsinge) and this years newest addition Cheryl Cole (member of all girl band Girls Aloud).

After the Audition phase they all attaend bootcamp and it is eliminated down 24 indiviuduals/bands to go with each of the judges to foreign destination where they are they competiting to reach the final 12 for the live shows.

This is then the part if really enjoy the Final Shows, each contestant has to sing a song given by their mentor (which is one of above judges) ad they sing to a live audience and then the voting lines are open to the public at home and each week someone is sent home.

The show gets so addictive, I love to watch all the stages and see each contestant improve as the series goes on.

It is normally shown on ITV on a saturday evening around 7.30pm and then the results show is later that evening around 10pm...
